Single Item Delivery is the fast way to move one thing — a sofa, a fridge, a wardrobe or a marketplace purchase. There is no separate labour and vehicle base charge; you pay for the item’s volume, mileage and access, with a clear £80 minimum.
Furniture and appliance examples
Single Item is ideal for one bulky or heavy piece.
- Sofas, armchairs and wardrobes
- Fridge freezers, washing machines and cookers
- Beds, mattresses and dining tables
- Marketplace and second-hand purchases
Why there is an £80 minimum
Single Item skips the £70 base charge used for larger moves. Instead you pay for the item’s volume, mileage beyond five miles and any access charges. Because even a small job involves a vehicle and a trained pair of hands, a minimum price of £80 applies. If your volume, mileage and access come to less than £80, we show a transparent minimum-price adjustment — for example a £25 volume charge plus £10 mileage plus a £45 adjustment makes £80.
Access requirements
Tell us the floor, stair flights and whether there is a usable lift at both the collection and delivery address, plus parking notes. Access is charged per property so the quote reflects the real effort involved.
Preparing your item
Make sure your item is ready to go.
- Empty and defrost appliances in advance
- Detach legs or fittings where possible
- Measure doorways and the item itself
- Clear the route at both ends
Single Item Delivery questions
The £70 labour and vehicle base applies to Man & Van and Full House Removals. Single Item Delivery does not include it — instead a £80 minimum price applies to cover the vehicle and handling.
If the volume, mileage and access charges add up to less than £80, the total is brought up to the £80 minimum and we show the adjustment clearly in your breakdown.
Yes. Flag heavy or oversized items when you build your quote and tell us about the access at both properties so the right help and equipment are arranged.
