Getting started

What is It’s Time 2 Move?

It’s Time 2 Move is a UK moving platform that helps customers plan a move, understand the price and connect with vetted driver partners. You can build a quote online before deciding what to do next.

How does the moving process work?

Choose the service that fits, enter your collection and delivery details, and build an inventory of the items you need moved. Your quote shows the main price components; when you save it, the server checks the details and recalculates the total.

Can I get a quote without creating an account?

Yes. You can build a quote as a guest. To save it to your account and return to it later, sign in or create an account when prompted.

Is getting a quote a commitment to book?

No. Creating a quote lets you review your move details and the price breakdown. Review the booking steps and any terms shown before you confirm a move.

Moving services

What types of moves can I arrange?

The platform offers Man & Van for smaller moves, Full House Removals for moving a home, and Single Item Delivery for one bulky item such as a sofa, appliance or wardrobe.

What is the difference between Man & Van and Full House Removals?

Man & Van is designed for smaller loads such as a room, a few pieces of furniture or a student move. Full House Removals is for a larger household move and lets you build a room-by-room inventory.

Can the driver help load and unload?

Man & Van includes help loading and unloading. Add accurate item and access details to your quote, and flag heavy or awkward pieces so the job can be understood before moving day.

Do you offer packing or storage?

The services described on the platform focus on moving and delivery. Packing materials and storage are not included as standard; contact the team if your move needs something beyond transport and handling.

Pricing & quotes

How is my moving quote calculated?

For Man & Van and Full House Removals, the price includes a £70 base, the volume of your items, mileage beyond the first five miles, and access charges. Single Item Delivery has no separate base charge and an £80 minimum. The quote shows the components.

How do you measure the volume of my move?

Build an inventory using the catalogue of common household items, adjust quantities and add custom items with dimensions where needed. The running total estimates your volume in cubic feet.

How is distance charged?

The first five miles between collection and delivery are included. Each chargeable mile after that is £1.80. If a route is shown as an estimate, check the details presented in your quote.

Are stairs and property access included in the price?

Access is priced for each property. The current quote rules show £20 per flight of stairs without a usable lift, or £10 per flight where there is a usable lift. Add the correct floor, stairs and lift details for both addresses.

Are there minimum prices?

Man & Van and Full House Removals have a £79 minimum. Single Item Delivery has an £80 minimum. If the calculated charges are below the minimum, the quote shows the adjustment.

Can my price change after I edit my move details?

Yes. The quote is based on the information you provide. If you change the inventory, addresses or access details, the total may be recalculated; review the updated breakdown before you continue.

Booking & scheduling

How far in advance should I arrange a move?

Availability depends on the date, route and driver capacity. Start your quote as early as you can, and consider marking your date as flexible if your plans allow it.

Can I choose a flexible moving date?

Yes. The quote flow lets you mark a date as flexible. This gives more room to match your move with availability, but does not guarantee a particular date or time.

Can I change my date after I have saved a quote?

If your plans change, check the booking details in your account and contact the support team for help. Changes may depend on the booking status and driver availability.

What details should I prepare before getting a quote?

Have both postcodes, your preferred date, a list of the items to move, and details about floors, stairs, lifts and parking at each property. Accurate information makes the estimate more useful.

Coverage areas

Which areas do you cover?

It’s Time 2 Move connects customers with driver partners across the UK. Enter both postcodes in the quote flow to check whether your particular route can be served.

Do you handle international moves?

The platform is focused on UK moves. International removals are not listed as a standard service; contact the team if you have a cross-border move to discuss.

Drivers, safety & belongings

Are drivers checked before they can accept work?

Driver partners go through an application and review process. Only partners approved for the platform can receive jobs, and required documents and payout setup must meet the platform’s eligibility checks.

Are my belongings insured during a move?

Cover can depend on the driver and the job. Check the terms and protection details provided for your booking, and contact support before booking if you need clarification about a particular item or level of cover.

How can I help protect my furniture and property?

Pack smaller belongings securely, label boxes, clear walkways and tell the driver about fragile, heavy or unusually shaped items. Share accurate access and parking details for both addresses.

What if an item is damaged or something goes wrong?

Contact the support team as soon as possible and include your booking details and a clear description of what happened. Keep any relevant photos or records so the team can review your query.

For driver partners

How do I apply to become a driver partner?

Create a partner application through the platform, complete your business and service details, add your vehicle information and upload the documents requested in your dashboard.

How long does partner approval take?

Applications are usually reviewed within 3–5 working days once all required documents have been uploaded. You can follow your application status from your partner dashboard.

Why do I need to set up payouts before receiving jobs?

Payout onboarding is part of the platform’s job eligibility checks. Complete the secure payout setup from your partner dashboard; jobs become available once your account meets the required approval, vehicle, document and payout checks.

How do I manage jobs after I am approved?

Use the partner dashboard to review available work and manage assigned jobs. Keep your service areas, availability and vehicle details up to date so your profile reflects the work you can take on.

Accounts, payments & support

How do I find a quote I saved?

Sign in to the account you used when saving the quote and check your bookings or quotes area. If it is not there, contact support with the email address on your account.

How are payments handled?

Follow the payment instructions shown for your booking. Any amount due and the next step are presented before you complete a payment; your quote itself can be created before you decide to proceed.

How do I contact the support team?

Use the Contact link on the website or the support options in your account. Include your booking reference and the email address on your account so the team can find the right details.

How is my personal information used?

We use the information needed to prepare quotes, manage bookings and provide support. See the Privacy Policy for details about the information collected and your rights.
